I feel for the people that cancelled their Mach1 orders, lets hope Ford or the dealers reach out and offer them the $5400 discount off a new order.

Well, this just got even better! We now get the $5400, 3 years of servicing and the Ford Track day special! Anyone who cancelled their order must be kicking themselves.

Just incredible from Ford!! I don't know who to Thank at Ford but I'm so grateful for this!

It didn't turn out to be as ridiculous a request from consumers as some thought!

Probably would've copped more had they not given customers all the things they did in the end.

Finally got all the Handling Package parts on the car. Fitted everything bar the tyres onto the wheels myself. Was simple enough to do.

The tyres are the fattest I've ever had on a car. Running cup2's. Never had cup 2 before but they're simply fantastic. Just grip up so well after about 10kms of driving. Terrible till you get heat into them and tend to wander a bit when cold.

305/30r19 fronts
315/30r19 rears.

Need to fit the strut tower camber adjustment and I'm done. Strut brace is fitted too but I don't have a picture of it.

Fitting the front bar was a pain. 21 plastic pop rivets and it was impossible to find the right tool. Got one from Bathurst in the end to finish it

People wanted $6500+ for the wheels locally in the early days. You can get them for $3500 now. Got them from the US, delivered to my door for $2500.

We don't get that here. We get a jacket and a Ford GT 1:18 model. And the build sheet.

All these parts are standard on the Handling package in the US. But I had to buy the spoiler and gurney flap separately. Really easy to join up though. The spoiler even fits straight into the holes of the stock lip spoiler.

Yes, the car hasn't been driven much with all the rain in Sydney. Needs a wash!

Did that fit with no trouble, I heard the ones selling in Aus are for LHD cars and you have to butcher them to fit.

Yeah, I got it from Mustang Motorsport and they make the modification to it. Its the strut bracing towards the firewall that gets in the way on the RHD cars. It fit really easy.

Went for a cruise with some other Mach 1 owners. Interestingly, for those looking at the 20's with FP lowering, the stock car with the Handling Package 19's is lower than the lowered car with the 20's!

First two cars, the blue and the FJG ones.

Am i the only one who prefers the 5 spoke wheels on these s550 mustangs, i just cant bring myself to really really like PP1 and PP2 offerings , way to intricate and fiddly for my liking.

The Mach 1 HP wheel is different to the PP wheels whilst sharing the same width, the offsets are different as is the spoke design. I like the HP wheels. They look great on the car!

I realize that Kypez it's just the multispoke thing that i don't like not the size or anything of that nature , much prefer a classic 5 spoke compared to some of todays offerings but that's a personal choice i am not knocking those that like the others.

Fair enough. I usually like 5 spoke. I just don't care for the standard ones on the Mach 1 myself.

Yep. Car looks so much better but the biggest advantage is all the extra mechanical grip available to me now. Really makes the front end feel much more sorted.
