another thing that comes to mind is people when comming up to traffic lights have a sudden change of heart at the last minute and slam their breaks on, only to end up 2m past the white line anyway, nearly gave out a few a55 ramings because of these tools, either stop at lights safely or keep f%@kin going!

I hate when people don't watch for motorcyclists... I've now sold my ZX-6R because its too dangerous just rideing around town!
Here's something else i hate.... Notice the old wheels, the tacked on "bonnet scoop" and the monster tacho, then notice that the rest of the car is a sh!theap... <edit> but i LOVE when four cyc ricers with an exhaust think they can take on sixes and eights, and get their asses handed to them!

Could you imagine it, he must be so proud driving along and looking into his EMPTY bonnet scoop! That is if he can see past the monster tacho!

Theres plenty of tools who put after market tachos on there cars even when it comes with one from factory. Also people who have them when there is no need to ie. My mate got a tacho for his 88 laser which is stock aswell. His stereo is worth more than the car.

I hate the way people use the excuse not to go to car shows because their car is not of "show standards". Unless your entering your car into Meguires Ex or Ford V Holden, then who cares. Local club ford shows, you'll be lucky to find any high profile cars. And even if you enter and your car is not highly modified, then its never going to win against the big guns anyway. So what does it matter. Enter your car, and stop with the excuses.

I had to drive up to the tip and reverse it in for him What do I hate? Mostly what ppl here have said. I hate it when I am going 60kph in a 60 zone, I get overtaken by some ****er who's doing 70. NP, his licence not mine. But then we get to the 80 zone, he's still doing 70 and I overtake him. Get to a 60 zone and he goes past me again, doing the obligatory 70. Doesn't he know any other speed???!!! WTF is that about? ARGH!

I got a pet hate and seem so dangerous too. Sydney to Gosford freeway am or pm traffic when flowing is usually doing 120+ right lane, left lane 110 ish and from behind comes the plumbers/sparky/builders/Telstra HILUX at 140+ fully loaded swapping lanes like a GP driver trying to keep up the momentum and tailgating everything else in sight. Saw a Telstra one last week but I didn't have a piece of paper to write down plate number and report him.
140+ in a Telstra Hilux FFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR OUT what a :togo:

Also when someone is doing 10 below the speed limit ... when there is an overtaking lane to pass ... they speed up to well over the speed limit so you can't ... it goes back to single lanes and they slow back down again ... grrrr

Having travelled the Sydney Newcastle frequently over the last 10 years or so I have noticed a great improvement in the last 2-3yrs of people moving over into the lelft lane if I am comming quicker. I also like to give a thank you wave to them if they did. I still find the odd ******** who doesn't but if theres three lanes I take the far left and pass but if theres only two I will give them a quick flash which often works if not the full blast of horn as I take the left lane before they have time to move over on me and I add a bit of digitaly manipulated gesticulation as I go :the_finge .

It's gotten so bad in NSW that they have just announced more demerit points/fines for it.

Unfortunatley it is not illegal to drive in the right hand lane unless the speed limit is MORE THAN 80KPH : . So even in an 80 zone it is not illegal though there has been a change in NSW lately and it now carries 3 demerit points.
I have just sent this question off to the RTA and will post the reply when I get one. Can you please clarify, in the new handbook the rule regarding multi-lane roads says keep left generally but you MUST keep left if more than 80kph or KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING signs. The new demerit points are for "Failing to keep left on a multi-lane road". My question is; If I am traveling on a multi lane road in the right lane sign posted @ 60 or 70 or 80 is this an offence irrespective of the fact it is just plain arrogant.

What if your speedo is out and you are sitting at what you think is 60kph when in fact it's 55kph? Then everyone gets the sh!ts with you. And heaven forbid the person who gets into the left lane and happens to undertake you. Then THEY get done for undertaking! Just a stupid, stupid, stupid rule. I dgaf what the speed, people should just keep left unless they are overtaking or about to turn right up ahead. Simple. ARGH! A PET HATE OF MINE EXPOSED!

Deesun: The penalty you describe applies on multi-lane roads zoned 90km/h and above, signposted or not. **(See below) If a road is signposted 60, 70 or 80km/h AND a 'keep left unless overtaking' sign is posted, then the same ($250 + demerits) penalty applies.
A similar keep left penalty applies on standard two-way roads, here, 'keeping left generally'. Folk should also read the NSW text stated in the Road Users Handbook "Driving on a Freeway or Motorway. RTA released their new handbook just this week, and it is completely overhauled. Right click this link and choose 'Save As'. Pdf & 2.4mb. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/...englishweb.pdf ** NSW is doing away with 70 and 90km/h zones. This would mean many multi-lane roads less than 100km/h, and not bearing 'keep left unless overtaking signs' that it would not be an offence to keep right. The removal of 90km/h zones will mean additional keep left unless overtaking signs, and a reduction in the legislated keep left mandatory rule to 80km/h and above, as use to be the case prior to the ARR adoption into NSW law.
