Pretty funny reading through this thread and reading people's disappointment on a car most have not seen in the flesh and without more padding than a 16 year old in a nightclub

I hope those are not vents. They look gay, specially in that location.

In those pictures, specially with all that padding, the car looks very much like a VY.

I also reckon vents would be nice. But im with u, if they are vents on the front of that car, they are way to close together and way to far towards the front of the bonnet.

Maybe Ford might do the opposite to Holdung and make their flagship car look like their medium car? (Falcon / Mondeo vs Commodore / Epica) Not that that's a bad thing! The Mondeo looks quite nice!

As long as the new Falcon does have those ugly side flutes im happy.

I will admit that the ss and sv6 look good but we just got some base model ve commos at work and they r the ugliest thing i have ever seen.

They look goofy with hubcabs, strange side flutes and chunks all over them.

The VE Commodore has to be the ugliest fleet car ever and everyone at work avoids them in droves, not to mention is it me or has a Dunnydoor not felt this slow since the Ecotec days.

Anywayz they are turning over the fleet at work so I wonder what they will get.....(im guna miss the bosses xr6 turbo) the accountants manage the fleet so hopefully we r not stuck with more gay looking base model VE's.

my demask attempt (XR6T)

Chances are the XRT will look different from the XR6 in some way, to give it more identity

It looks very close to the BF still, this would be the first time Ford hasn't radically altered the Falcon for a new series, since well the XW. Maybe they are too haunted by the AU. Not that im complaining, if they improove the BF GT then OMG!

That pic makes it look like the previous model Vectra, except with XR headlights.

There's a reason the lights from BA to BF were slightly reshaped like they were. And based on your outline, you can see why.

yeah, I am with ya death, I reckon the current BFmkII will resemble it a hell of a lot.
Could you imagine the cost involved in making the tools for the new headlights etc just for the bf II, I am sure they will carry some aspects over so it wasnt just a huge waste of money.

the bulges on the rear windscreen are ugly as sin.

the side skirts or what ever they are disgusting too.
