Hi GTLEGEND - could you help me out with an AU 1 fuel pump to filter line? Part number is 96DA 9E964 AA
Ideally I'd like the non quick disconnect variant (traditional fitting requiring spanners) but I don't have the part number for that. Will take what I can get! Trying to get stuff on the second hard market is a real pain in the butt these days. Would rather buy new if available. Thanks |

That part number is the engineering number and just making sure its non IRS AU1 Sedan. If so the part number you would be chasing is AU9E964C. Long gone, I will look around but very much doubt I will come across one, so you will need to look on eBay, Market Place etc. GT |

Thanks. Not having much luck second hand. Messaged a few wreckers and several people wrecking an AU already with no luck. Might have to make the trip to Jollys in Geelong. |

Hi GT, I am chasing a plastic boot liner (BGF00038AA?) for a BA/BF Falcon sedan if you can help please? Also would love a plastic bonnet protector for a BF MK2 (non-XR) too please, if possible. I fear both items are long obsolete but no harm in asking.
Also any idea if AU-BF slimline weather shields are still kicking around? Or BF MK2 non-XR headlight protectors…? |

The part number you quote there is for a FG boot liner. For BA BF sedan there where was only one BAF00038AA and only suited non LPG vehicles. BF non XR bonnet protector BAF216000AA. AU-BF Slimline weather shields: ER18494A BF non XR Headlight protectors: BAF213000AA Would need to chase these if possible as they are all long gone. |

Beauty, thanks for the part numbers. Any recommendations where I could look (other than the usual second hand places / wreckers)?
Is it worth me reaching out to some Ford dealers incase there’s any gathering dust on a shelf or doesn’t work like that? |

i have bought these non-genuine from ebay for both the sedan & the wagon [BF1/BA] & also found some non-genuine XR headlight protectors for the 'B' series. the only differance [other than not having the FORD branding] is the sedan/wagon/ute non-XR headlight covers are missing one of the plastic feet that keeps a section away from the headlight, other wise no issues. |

Thanks mate!.. I have a creak in the steering when the car gets wet, was thinking it was the rack mounting rubbers like the BF but must be something else!

The catalogue lists the 6cyl cross member and mount as two seperate items or as an assembly, but the V8 one only as an assembly. The assembly part numbers are different between 6 & 8. So that means the V8 one could have the same cross member as a 6 but a different mount, or the same mount but a different cross member or or totally different. You wont know excatly until you compare the two. For ZF 6 speed auto 6 cyl assembly = BG5027C V8 assembly = BG5027D If thats any help? |
