Default Eddie Tassone has 2000HP in his sites!!!!

Got an email from a mte today at work, don't know where he got it from but check it out!!!!!

At the Holden vs Ford show this weekend (just gone), Eddy Tassones VZ
Commodore ute made 1899rwhp, which is a new world record. The car has a 383
stroker V8 (based on the old Holden 5.0L block) with twin turbos, custom
cam and manifold using 40psi and C16 fuel. Apparently they backed off
before the redline because the engine was leaning out due to the fact it
was not tuned properly (they only put the engine together the day before
the event), so it only revved to 6500rpm, and the dyno graph indicates it
will keep going. Summernats, here we come.
The dyno sheet below was taken after the second run, the third run was
1898.9rwhp.

All that and she is still road registered!!!

Still road registered?! That's insane!!

I know this may seem like a silly question, but what's the actual world record for?

It wont take Eddy to much longer to get there. He is most likely waiting for the finals of this show circuit to pull the big numbers.

take a look at the intake temp in the dyno reading... 230 degrees...
as I've said before, the dyno run had the wrong correction factor applied dye to a sensor failure and as such the dyno reading was false.

If the sensor hadn't failed it would have been in the 1300hp range, like he has run previously.... which is still a damn fine effort

He does put his cars on the black top and they are very impreesive there to .
Drag racing is/or was his first thing.I think its great that he still does dyno comps after what he was subjected to in his sumernats dyno win .

From memory his last car ran 8 sec with 8 inch rims and the same basic engine .I am not 100% on the details I am sure someone that knows more will correct me

He's a dyno queen because he chooses to use his car on a dyno ???

You can't use that fuel on the street can you. Very impressive all the same. Wonder how it would go on pump fuel. Would be insane to drive. Wish i could have that power with reliability for a daily driver. lol. :

Taking into account the intake temp error its only 1300-1400HP... still impressive though.

Not quite as impressive as this one though

Similar power... but no turbos there!.. has also run a 7.86@176
