Default Spark plugs are one with the engine

Decided to replace all the ignition on my engine, after looking at the state of the contacts in the distributer lid, it seemed like a good idea. Anyway.

Get to replacing the spark plugs and three of them wont budge.
Soak in wd40, still wont budge.
Get my grandpa and dad to have a go,

$70, broken spark plug puller, broken ratchet, two rounded sockets later, still nothing.

Somewhere along the lines two of the sparkplugs got rounded and the sparkplugs broke as the engine is no longer firing.

Now I have left them sitting in wd40 for a few days and i'm told here are my options,
1) try weld onto the bolts to get better grip
2) pull the engine apart and drill them out.

Has anyone got any further advise?
I think i'll give option one a go.

Also somewhere along the line, the leads came out the distributer,
I know the fire order is 1 3 4 2, on the engine, but unsure where to
start in the distributer, i'd take a guess it's this

3 4
1 2

This is for a 2 litre pinto engine (mk2 escort).

Thanks for the time,
James.

Be careful mate.

A spark plug was too tight in a mates car and I put a lot of force on it to undo it and crack the head :(

Thanks for the heads up.
I had a play abit more and got the engine to fire
2 1
4 3

Looks the go. I think the best thing is to not touch it now and
take it to a mechanic while it's still drivable.
If they have to pull it apart, I might get the bearings done and they
can see if there's any other suprizes waiting to be found, all is not lost (apart from $).
