Default Steering wheel bargain

Have seen these AU steering wheels on e-bay.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....8294&rd=1&rd=1

Wondering if there is a catch, or is it a genuine bargain?

No catch, just a bargain. Bayford parts is a ford dealer and a reputable ebay seller. I'd say they are just shifting old stock - there are now 5 BA models that they need stock for more than the AUs.

They quote that Ford price is $1300, so I think if they are genuine that $195 is a really good price.
MADNC where did you get one for $120??

Ring your local ford dealer and ask for the list price of any of the momos. Make sure you are sitting down when you do. Depending on colour etc, they ranged from $650 through to $1300.

they sell them that cheap cos its all the overstock ones that got made and bayford would have bought heaps from ford when ford was getting rid of them, if u look on ebay u can get a brand new momo steering wheel for around $200 from some guy and bayford are also selling brand new ba ones simular to the one in the link for 150 cos ford had overstock of them.

I got the last one from that place in geelong about 6 mopnths ago for 190 dollars. He said he had sold a 1000 over the last few years so l was lucky as its also had brand new cruise and sterio controls. Wish i'd got the thicker wheel from ebay though.

Yup, Cherry Red MOMO wheel without ESS is around $1300 list price. Scary stuff when you see the markup they have!

You have to wonder about mark-ups!!!
I bet they didn't sell many for $1300, probably just accident damage that insurance companies pay for

I took the the Leather Momo off and put the the thicker bayford leather/woodgrain one on. I believe these are the genuine Ltd/Fairlane type. I picked it up direct from Bayfords for $170, and the Momo is sitting in a box packed away lol.
