Angry 6 Stacker just died!!!

leaving JeffAU1's house, i pressed change cd, and it just made all these crunching sounds and now its rooted.

i dont really want another ford replacement for it to break in 14 months like this one. so i think ill get a new H/U for xmas. with iPod input :

Way to go. Even though my installation is absolute CRAP, havig the convenience of the iPod and getting rid of all the CDs floating around the car makes it worthwhile.

Just a thought - have you tried pulling the unit out, unplugging it - then putting it back in?

My 6 stacker ate 2 CDs in slot number 4, refused to give them up, but then after trying the above, it spat them both out at the same time, and has worked perfectly since then (touch wood) ??

tried that with my mums car when it did it. ate an extra cd just like yours. and didnt work.

then Ford sent us a letter telling us not to put 7 cd's in LOL!!!! but it was the ford technician that did it HAHA

i'm not looking for anything too flash either. something around the 400-500 dollar mark i guess.



i HATE the radio though so i better sort something out quick. :(

well looks like i can get it replaced under warranty (apparently) so if i can get one for free, and it breaks in a year. who cares.
