Default Centre Console Fan, Temp and Mode Switches

Hi Guys,

I've just picked up an 2000 Model AU Series 2 Futura and I'm giving it a tidy up. The Centre Console Fan, Temp and Mode Switches are Silver in colour and the Silvers worn off in patches so I would like to replace them.

The question I have is do the switch knobs just pull off or is there some other trick to it?

Cheers,

Silver AU

Well I had another look at getting the knobs off the centre console and it looks like the black facia piece will have to come off first as the knobs have a retaining piece molded into them that sits behind the black facia.

The question now is how do you remove the black facia?
Do you have to remove the Centre Finish Panel then remove the facia from it?

Hope someone can help.
