Hey i have these plugs off a Au3 bout 50-60 thou old im pretty sure, im going to regap em to 1.1mm, what can i use to clean em i have throttle body cleaner is that good? can i give em a file on the tips

After that many k's they'd be knackered and to me they certainly look it. Time for some new ones.

Damn they have had a hard time for 50-60 thou.
i pulled mine out around the 75-80 thou mark and my electrodes were a lot cleaner. The Iridium tips are very fragile and can be damaged easily when trying to gap them down more. Petrol works well in cleaning them up. I resorted to getting NGK R plugs again ... I couldn't be stuffed coughing up $120-ish for spark plugs. So far though I am finding the basic plugs do the same job and have been in there for a bit now and still fine (they are gapped down to 0.8 though for LPG).

you don't regap irridium plugs it will stuff the electrodes they are extremly fragile
