Default Balljoints

The balljoints in my AU 1 need replacing.

I'm after some advice as to what balljoints should I buy. Are there any aftermarket items that are better than the factory replacements, or are the factory replacements as good as any of the other products that are available?

Thanks

Most known brands (Fords/Repco) are ok just steer clear of the cheap chinese import stuff .and it is a pig of a job to do by yourself I would get a price from Pedders or a suspension place first..or ring /PM site sponsor Fulcrum for some advice:togo:

I think GK had his done at Pedders. He bought the set from Bayford and saved quite a bit on what Pedders charge for the ball joints.
If you PM him I am sure he will give you all the details and costs.

Yep get on ebay and purchase the full set of 4 for $110 off bayfords, that's what i did and then fitted them myself, there not hard as long as you have a large press and my CNC workshop to make press tools in. otherwise pedders said like $20 each to press in and out if you bring the arms in

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll go buy the set from Bayford.

I'll let you know how I go with the job.
