Here is a car that is pulling high 6's for the 0-100 sprint, yet in the same run claims a 14.3. Not bloody likely!

Like I said, I've driven an R33 GTS-t (stock bar a cat-back) and it feels quick up 60km (super short gearing) but after that it feel like a manual 4.0 litre. In gear (from 80-120) it's not very impressive at all.

My XR6T pulled a 14.3 second quarter and there is no way in hell that my mates R33 GTS-t has got a hope in matching that.

I just don't believe that the times being quoted for GTS-t's and GTT's is realistic for STOCK examples.
Well, aren't the R33 GTS-T only about 170kw as well? Good luck getting that to 266kmh.

I've also seen and read of 'stock' R34 GTRs pulling 12.8-13 seconds down the strip. With something that weighs around 1.8 tonne (?) and a quoted 205kw, not likely. Even if their real power figures were pushing 240-250kw off the showroom floor, as many claim, would still fall short of 12.8 seconds.
I've been in a stock R34 GTR, up to the 180kmh speed limiter, and from what I've driven I'd say it pulled no harder or very similar to a VZ SS auto.

Umm thats not right stock weight is around 1350kg for GTS-T and GTT. GTR's are in the 1530-1570 mark

Its all top end with those cars, get it in 3000rpm or above and the will just eat the road.

A quarter mile is a long way, after half track its power that will get the times.

I had some lovely fella harass me this morning on my way to work. Slipped into performance mode gave a bit of throttle & waited & waited & waited only when i hit the brakes did he come flying past. haha

Was a GT-T with massive exhaust & a front mount so big that could almost replace his front bar.........

I'v a mate has a R33, its more then just a tarted up family sedan, man she goes, and handles. Also knew someone witha R33, but an auto, not as fun.

Only problem with skylines is that everyone seems to think of them a a GT-R or AWD collectivly.
