Default au1 brake pedal to the floor

g'day, i recently had a problem with my brakes after flogging my car pedal went the floor still had brakes but only 1/2in from the floor, looked for leaks, bulging hoses and found nothing so i bleed them and that fixed it until today driving around giving it a bit of stick same again light on dash comes on as well forgot to mention and the brakes are up the s***t again what on earth could be causing this. it's not using fluid and the pads are fine i have never had any issues with the brakes on a abs car yet and this has got me stumped! can anyone help please? thanks

What is causing it? Perhaps the bolded section above?

Is it an AU1? If so, they are very underbraked., so you might look into doing an AU2 suspension and brake upgrade - the twin callipers should provide you with more stable, reliable and consistent braking.
If it's an AU2, then change your driving style - essentially you are boiling the fluid.

That my friend is brake fade. I first experienced it coming down the back of Mount Glorious, after passing two motorcycles coming into a 30 km/h hairpin down a 20 degree mountain straight, foot straight to the floor. I though I was gone, babied it to the bottom of the hills, my brakes were red and smoking. The lesson, is if you are overtaking motorbikes on a mountain pass, your going to fry your brakes, and they will laugh at you.

Might be an idea to check your rotors, mine did the same thing and the rotors were just undersize
