Oh, but what relevance do V8 supercars have with the road going versions.... That would be your usual argument if the Holdens won!! :

Um I can see this turning into a Holden vs Ford war.

Just so you guys know I place my hat in both camps meaning im un-biased when it comes to Ford or Holden

The Ford I6 and the RB30 are both great engines and both still have high potential to be the most powerful 6 Cylinders in Australia or the World.

No my consistant arguement is you are a clueless idiot, here for no other reason than to make trouble. Its not the lions we dont like (though they aren't our preference), what we dont like is VL knob jockey coming in and spraying absolute nonsense..

I'm not "magazine racing" here, I'm simply trying to point out that the 250 I6 and the RB30 are completely different engines, while the RB30 might make more horsepower then the 250, I know which one would struggle less if it has a heavy load to pull along, thanks to having so much stump pulling torque.

Sorry, but you're showing your ignorance of what torque is and how important it is. There is more to life then the 1/4 mile, and there is more to an engine then peak horsepower... The 250 has a shedload of torque, all on tap, from just over 2000rpm. Compare the torque curve of the RB30 to the torque curve of the 250 I6, the shape of the curve, as well as the actual peak torque and where that peak is, then come back to this discussion when you're a little better informed and you won't make yourself look so silly...

Hey, I never said torque was useless or irrellevant.... What I am saying is that even though the 4.1 I6 has a lot of torque on paper, it certainly does not feel like it in real life...

Barbie avatars are known to strike quickly and without warning, bringing pink fluffy justice to those that bring the wrath of casper down upon them.

Dissing the I6 is the fast lane to this place of suffering.

I was talking about RB20DET, which are 2.0l I6 double overhead cam, turbocharged motors, and comparing it to the RB30ET (turbo).
the RB20E your talking about is a 2.0l single cam non turbo motor

Dont diss the 250....slap a turbo on the side and you can pull some truly phenomenal performance. I was just having a dig about the RB30 donk- they showed Ford and Holden right up.....and they were using 5+litres and 8 cyl versus 3 litres 6cyl!! :sm_headba

When you only see the sh*tters in your rear view mirror you only recognise the letters in reverse!! You have just passed another nedloH!! :the_finge

Same old only thing that changes is the size of the lies and the lion.
Next thing you'll be praising the alloytec.....

Face it Rick you have neither clues nor arguments, you come over to suicide post to impress you little mates, and no-ones take the bait other than to recognise you as the lonely talentless void you are.

Mate you're the one that has no clue, you rely on senseless sarcasm and tasteless humour to back up your arguments.
