I had enough trouble fitting a single din in there because theres a big rail that goes along the back and gets in the way. In my opinion nothing looks better in the AU dash then the AU radio, it sort of curves with the dash rather than sticking out and looking sharp and boxy

Hey mate, I've got a 7" in-dash installed in mine. It fits alright, and sits just below the air vents. I even have a couple of pics in my build thread (sorry dunno how to past links). Only down-side i find is that it has to sit out a little further than other single dins due to the screen folding upwards.

I'll get some pics of mine tomorrow if I get a chance and put them up for you.

7" double din.

But as someone said above, once it goes in it won't come out!!! Was an absolute horror to put in, took the "cage" off the original double din stereo and none of the screwholes lined up, mate reckons that the cage for the Nissan Patrol went straight on to the same unit no problems at all (he took it out the Patrol and sold it to me when he upgraded to an even better system).

Sorry forgot all about this the day after I made the post.

I'm a bit busy at the moment, about to get ready to head out for a bit, but when I get home I'll run the camera out.
