Default ******BEFORE You Start or Post In A Thread**** PLEASE READ****

Before anyone starts a thread or decides to reply to an existing thread there are a few things to consider before doing do as the quality of some threads and posts of late have been below par and do not belong on these Forums.

Just to remind many ....... these are the Australian Ford Forums ......... which were primarily set up for enthusiasts to partake in helping others in the field of cars, Fords and all things related. While there are areas for general automotive and even non automotive areas, this does not mean its a free for all to post anything that might pop into your head before thinking about what it is your posting.

From the TERMS & CONDITIONS that everyone acknowledged when they became a member there are a few points that need reaffirming:

In short, the following things are not permitted:

1. Posts about or containing references to: religion, race, politics, sensitive or controversial subjects.

2. Posts that are (or could reasonably be considered to be): defamatory, threatening, invasive of privacy, or which otherwise violate any law applicable within Australia.

3. Posts that are disrespectful or insulting to another forum member. Remember that everyone is entitled to their opinion as long as it is expressed in a reasoned manner.

4. Posts containing advertising material in any form except those posted on or on behalf of supporting site sponsors.

5. Posts containing attempts to avoid the language filter.

Posts which breach any of the points above will be removed at the absolute discretion of the administration team. If you feel that a post has been removed incorrectly then please use the Private Messaging system provided to discuss the issue with a member of the admin team rather than discuss the issue publicly.

Australian Ford Forums is NOT an extension of Facebook, Youtube or Ebay. Also there are a number of lazy posts with links to the daily news or other sources that are just thrown into areas with no explanation to what they are and appear for no reason what so ever.

Also from the TERMS & CONDITIONS

The site is provided mainly for the benefit of those wishing to discuss vehicle related matters (not exclusively Ford ones) but an area is provided (called the BAR) for other non automotive related discussion that is of general interest to the community. This is NOT a free for all area and posts that either don't meet the criteria listed below or which are deemed to be unduly trivial in nature may be removed at the discretion of the moderation team in that area.

If anyone posts subject matters for the sole intention to cause an argument or to be controversial, the thread will be removed and warnings issued. If threads are trivial in nature and are not within the guidelines of AFF, the thread will be remove and warnings will be issued.

If anyone does not agree with the TERMS & CONDITIONS of this site, please leave as that is the condition of being a member here. If anyone does not want to contribute to this site in a constructive manner, please do not post.
