Non genuine 18" rims

Hi Everyone,

I went to TTF the other day to ask if they had any second hand BA 18" rims, they had none but said they could get them non genuine for $900 a set without tyres. The guy wasn't keen on selling them though because he wasn't 100 percent sure if they were ADR approved and said if I had a stack my insurance company may try to get out of paying a claim. He also wasn't real confident in their build quality. Has anyone got these rims or have you heard similiar reports about them??
