I was just browsing Google Images, and I came across this!
 A NU Fairlane with the same factory Bullbar as my family's AUII Futura wagon, except the top bar is shaped differently. I can't find any evidence (nor have I seen this before!) of there being a bullbar for the Fairlanes. Custom order? Modified Falcon/Fairmont unit? Anyone else seen this or know anything? I think it suits our wagon better...  |

The smart bull bar is listed as a dealer fit option in the NU 2 Fairlane brochure.

I see what you mean.. maybe it was revised at some point? Allow better bonnet access when your trying to open it? Looks like the lower bar would be in the way somewhat? customers complained and it got moved?

I'd say it was simply designed to suit the different shape of the Fairlane.

Lots of them came out with them... Dealer fit I believe. |
