I currently have a 2.5" sports exhaust on my car. It is quiet and I have searched the forums looking for an answer to what I should get put it.
Currently cat-back I have the following - hotdog, muffler and muffler. On my EF previously I had a Redback exhaust with the centre muffler and a hotdog on the rear. Is Lukey a better exhaust? I want something with a deep note as now I have got a cam, extractors and high flow cat. Any recommendations would be appreciated

I'm running a 3" Lukey system on my 5.0 AU ute and it growls under a heavy right foot. Even when putting along through town the V8 note is evident...Nice tough sound without being too loud.

I have a 3 inch system from the extractors right through, hi flow cat,one lukey muffler, one hot dog, it is a little on the loud side , if I was going to do it again I think I would lose the hot dog and run a resonator ........... or two, mind you it sounds dam good just loping along or idling, its not a bad fuel economy device, it curbs my enthusiasm to stick the boot into it.
 .As for the brand lukey muffler, I dont have any complaints, its stainless and has been on the car for near on 8 years, showing no signs of problems. |

Wouldn't 3" be too big for a N/A 6?
