Gees it must have been a pretty serious explosion.

The article does'nt really say much about it.

I'm sure Toyota will catch up soon in next to no time.

I'm deeply saddened that Toyota have had to halt production due to this unfortunate incident and I cannot wait for the factory to resume so they can continue to deliver their brilliant cars to our shores.

Sheesh
That's better

C'mon, they are not bad! What other family sized FWD car can be purchased than can do 0-100km/h in 5 seconds that can impress the Hulk?

I still find it amusing that everyone here pays out the Aurion. It is a great car and yes, it will go toe to toe with a BA Xr8 and turbo just like Hulk said (as much as that hurts me to say it). Better build quality then my BA MKII, quicker 0-100 and around the track then the same aged XR6 (FG) and Commie (VE).

See more of the new "so over priced they will never sell any" Aurions and Camrys on the road then FGXs.....

Incident happened at Toyotas steel parts supplier which manufactures steel parts for Toyota car plants in Japan . As Toyota operates in JIT production method they run out of parts to assemble the cars.
All off Japanese made Toyotas are affected (including Lexus).

No doubt with typical Toyota efficiency they will have it back up and running in double quick time.

He's only giving expression to our subliminal thoughts. A few less cars stuck in the right lane.

No doubt they're madly melting down every fridge and washing machine in Japan as we speak to get production rolling again.

They will probably just move all their work orders to Thaiyota in Thailand and continue as normal , for half the price and continue on normally. Do Toyota even make cars in Japan anymore
