Why is it that people don't see a problem with mowing the lawns in bare feet?
Or that parents don't see a problem with allowing their young children (say, under 10) riding their bikes in bare feet or opened-toed shoes? Am I the only one that cringes seeing this, with a mental image of someone rocking up to the nearest ED with a tootsie or two missing?

Can't see that layer of rubber providing much protection for the little piggies..... But, yes, ear muffs are a good idea, too. My Honda is stickered as being high 80s db (may even be 90, can't remember).
