Angry Dealers that don't help!! WTF

What is it with Dealers that say they can hear the physical problem with the vehicle but can't fault it? :

I am NOT HAPPY JAN!! 3 times back to them and nothing resolved.

I won't mention the dealer or problem. I want this resolved. Just needed to vent some frustration to people who understand.

Needless to say I am scouting for a new dealer to look after both my cars in Brisbane.

If anyone has a recommendation of good after sales service in Brisbane please let me know the details.

Cheers,

Why not mention the problem? Some people may have experienced it and know how to fix it....

Theres a few issues with the car.

For memory theres a noise coming from the idler, theres a power steer pump noise and theres issues with the door rubbers not lining up properly.

I have offered to try and get it sorted out for Scott through one of my contacts, hopefully he will go see them and hopefully they will be able to fix it for him with minimal fuss. Without seeing the car im not too sure about the first points and whether they are normal or not!

As mentioned by Brent above, the idler is making a noise, pwr steer pump is noisy, there is a ticking that can be heard from inside the car which is extremly loud and can't be faulted? The seals have been fixed and no longer have a problem with them. Good job done there

Due to get it in to see a dealer next couple of days and see how we go.

Had to have a spit this morning as it is getting worse and I was not at all happy.

Frustration vented and getting on with the repair process.

I have no negativity towards Ford in general or its vehicles. Just the way I can not get satisfaction.

the ticking is the ideler, my na was the same.

Its a 15 minute job to fix, they are replaced on a regular basis, mine had to be HOT before it would do it.

Go see brudda Dwayne.

Cheers,

Brent

There is a tsb for power steering noise that doesen't go away that involves replacing the power steering high pressure hose.

yep, that TSB is for a viabration at low speeds that comes thru the steering.

I think scotts problem may be more of a pump noise.

I can highly recommend Southside Ford at Wooloongabba. Will post a major rap here for their efforts on my FBT in the next day or so.

Booked in for an overnight stay.

See how we go. Ticking seems to start when I first select gear. Doesn't go away until the car is turned off.

This morning after starting the car again it wasn't there however I only ran the car for approx. 30sec.

Thanks for your help Brent.
