Default White Block lettering on 17/ 18's why not

Looked everywhere and not a thing

Why don't any manufactures make Performance tyres in 17/18-inch with the white Block lettering on the side walls Re: BFGoodrich Radial T/A Style, I love the look of it,

Considering fitting 16's on the BF Turbo just so i can do it, i think it would look chit Hot LOL. BF turbo rolling on 16's fitted with BFG T/A's Hell yeah.

any who Dunlop i want SP3000 with White block lettering so get off a **** and make me a set.

White paint, brush. problem solved.

My Aunt used to be in advertising and she had to do an ad for a tire (Have no clue what brand it was now), and to make the brand stick out she used white out on the brand name.../thrilling yarn.

The writing on the tyres was an old school thing - you'd see it on some 70's muscle cars, but it would be out of place on a newer car, especially a low profile tyre.

They do! They just go east-west instead of north-south or you could say they are whale tail instead of shark fin. :

On a more serious note - I wouldn't think that 16s would fit on a BF XR6T because of the bigger brakes and I thought (correct me if I'm wrong here) that Ford was supplying 17" space saver rims on the XR6T and XR8 for this very reason.

Funny, if the tyre had white lettering I always fitted them with the writing to the inside.

Yokie 352's were better than BFG Terribly/Awfuls, they wear quick though.

My T had a 16 inch spare. With the stock brakes they'll fit.

I thought of every smart reply from Duran Duran to Mullets... but if it floats your boat then go on, do it.........

Love the way white lettering becomes white walls when they rub against the guard! I have 352's and the white goes inside!

so is having red and white walls on your tyres..

take a look at alot of cars going around and they have 19's with low profiles and red/white walls on them, i have seen many on commodores and to be honest they look good.

having a set of say bridgestone potenzas of some sort with the b/stone and potenza bit in white or a set of goodyear eagles (f1's only in 17"+ nct5 16") or dunlops with the their letters raised in yellow would look awesome on a late model car.

each to their own i guess..

but bring back the raised coloured lettering!!!

The white writing looks real cheesy if you ask me, very bogan-isk, don't know why, but it remids me of bogans in Torana's.

On the white/Red wall thing.. I have lots of mates who have done them on there late model vehicles, most are running 20+ rims, it looks good with certain colors, some look just as bad as the white lettering though:

Well stuff ya's then, Personally i like it, always have the white lettering facing out on my 4WD tyres, and if i could get it on 18's they would be fitted to the Falcon too, Coloured Block lettering proudly Facing OUT.

I hate the Look of 19-20-inch rims, the big shiny chrome ones look terrible IMO, so everybody's different, thou i look to be the minority on this one.

Pirelli have small red text or yellow banner with black text on some of their range, but its just a corporate colour, like the ford blue oval.

not a fan of the white lettering on late cars, except of its chunky tyres on a Fourby

Horrendously ugly on B-series...
Kinda reminds me of 12 slotters, with T/A's on E-series that i've seen many of...
Sure, you could get them, as long as you dont want to stop or turn a corner in the wet.
Whatever rocks your box i guess.
