Default Running power cables for sound system??

My mate and I can't really find anywhere to run power cables through the firewall?
He said it looked like the power cable actually ran underneath the car, but he didn't particularly want to do this..

Is there any other way to run the wiring?

Cheers

You'll find it, in the engine bay to the right and down from the brake booster, kind of a tube sticking out, and to the left of the brake pedal in the footwell. Once you've run it all and have everything setup (so you know lengths are right) rap a cloth around where the cable exits the metal tube in the foot well, and fill it up with sikaflex from the engine bay to prevent the sheath rubbing back.

Other way around? 4GA is bigger than 8GA, so if 8's a tight fit 4 isn't going anywhere near it!

Ended up running it through the big grommet just above the bonnet release cable.

Took a while to get it through, but it's there now

Now the next fun part...

Getting the speaker cable through to the door...

i ran 4ga throught the clutch cable hole and i also used the cars stock wiring for the speakers (fronts only) so didnt have to muck around putting a wire through the door.

At the moment i am running the fronts off the stock wiring, but im putting in a T400-4 amp in the not too distant future. Would rather have some 10ga wire for that

I bloody did it the other day, taped the wire to a coathanger, got it through the door and into the firewall, then using some pliers to get it through the firewall.. Finally got the coathanger through and was thinking YESSSSSS!! Then noticed the wiring was no longer attached to the coathanger... BASTARD

Why did you go from the door through the firewall? you mean to inside the kick panels?
