im gonna (wanna) put a ba turbo and 5 speed into me AU
the plan is to buy a whole car wreaked and use every thing. motor, box etc Q1 should i use my cluster or will the ba cluster fit in my dash and not look shiet. Q2 will i have to get a tail shaft to suit. or will the ba one fit?? Q3 and ages ago thier was a thread about a place in ferntree gully or something. that put a ba xr6 motor into an AU any one remember??? i want to contact them if any one knows wat im on about. any help, ideas, theorys im in melbourne btw |

You're talking about FTG who are site sponsors.
I think one of the biggest issues will be electrical (ECU, Looms, etc). Its not impossible, but its not a simple drop in. Its easier and cheaper to bolt a turbo to the AU engine.

BA XR6Ts can be had for nothing. Best bang for buck buy on the market. As an indication I went to trade my XR6T yesterday and they offered me $12,000. Unless you really love your AU I'd just buy a BA.

yer but i dont want to be some bloke driving a ba turbo. no offence but any one can do that like you said.
i wanna drive some different you dont see an au turbo every day do you? you cant just go buy one. and why wont it fit. this place in ferntree gully i think it was did it with a xr6 motor using original au computor & auto if i remember correctly. FTG you say sweet thanks m8 il check em out |

Speaking to Elite auto today, they had an AU with an XR6t driveline in it, they just tuned it, made 270kw atw.
