Thumbs up New Miami GT S/C at the drags tonight....

Good evening all!!

Tonight after work I went to treat myself to go see the Drags at WSID. To my delight as soon as I sit down Im staring down the barrel of what looked like to be a New Ford 335 GT. Not to sure if it was badged or not I thought Id keep an eye out too see its time and that would tell me if it was the new ones or someone badged/stickered the old one... I was little nervious as there was a heavily worked Kingswood beside it and was confident to say the FPV would get cleaned up.
Christmas tree turns green and off they go..... End result, Kingswood lost, GT ran an amazing 11.7!!! At this point I need to go down and talk to the driver if for anything just to shake his hand... As I got down to the staging lanes I found it to be one of the head mechanic from Auto Tech Engneering (were my car is currently at getting T/C'd) I straight away greeted him and ask how was my car going..
Once all the small talk was done, I asked him what is done to this thing, he was telling me it is near standard! Standard ECU Tuned, Exhaust and that is it! No boosted or anything! He told me he came down last week before they put on the exhaust and ran an 11.7 again and overall at this stage not happy with the system that they put on....

Personally, Im in complete shock! This thing is near standard and pulling times like 11.7 passes is to me absolutely phenomenal! If it was boosted or had bigger injectors it wouldnt suprise me as much... But it doesnt.... Its simply tuned... I am so proud of Ford!

At this stage I confidently ask, W427 who?
