Default Wow.. who can do this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB6NWx3oqeQ

A video of a bloke starting up a BF motor in his shed. Absolutely amazing.. to me its like getting a heart to beat on a table. Imagine putting that beast in a go kart, speedboat, hovercraft, crane, etc. Anyone know how to do this?

With that "choof choof" sound that got louder as the engine warmed up it sounds like there's a leaky valve there........ or maybe it's just the exhaust manifold gasket.

Haha that was awesome. except once again, this proves that the I6 is actually a pretty crappy sounding motor. I mean if you were benching a clevo, then it'd sound like satan just woke up, but when you bench an I6, it sounds like principal skinner with the flu.

if you like that, watch this:

Dead easy with a early carb'd engine .. see it all the time at swapmeets with people starting them up on trailers. I've run a 440 Mopar on the ground in a shed; I wouldn't recommend it

It's not hard. As long as the ECU, the fuel pump and all the sensors are wired up you can bench start a modern electronic injected engine.

With the BA/BF, the ECU isn't too happy when the rest of the car isn't present? What about the fly-by wire electronic throttle.
