Unless your putting in an V8 an 9" will use up half your horse power just to turn it. Actually you'll probably have to pay more rego due to tha car weighing twice as much. I hear Kenworth 3 speeds fit as well. LOL

Although are u sure its a diff as they often snap axles after harsh driving. The only time i ve seen them blow diffs is after they have been dodgely welded (locked) which some people say can cause the body to warp etc.

I have a mig locked 4.11 in mine from a mk 1 Pano, i would steer clear of using any sort of locker. Even turning small bends you can hear the axles binding up and skipping tyres. Ill be fitting a LSD from a Hilux me thinks.

Unless your racing it. Have a read around, Hilux diffs fit, but its a fair amount of work. I guess you could get a 9 inch but the work involved in fitting one would be huge, you would need it shortened otherwise your going to have wheels poking out 2 foot each side lol.

Cheers for the response guys.

Matt89 - It is on ebay - orange 4 dr - is that the one you mean? Damn that looked like such a bargain. I'm just looking for a cheap daily driver caus the Skyline drinks to much.

If that isn't the one you mean Hilux/Hiace is probabaly the way to go. i do want to drift it so it can't be weak or locked.

Theres a shortened chrysler diff on ebay thats supposed to fit in a esky pretty easy.. Dont know if its gonna be too fat and heavy to be worth it?

How good is ebay? It solves all problems.. So addictive..
