2nd and 4th gear both feel like they can and will just pop out when i engage the clutch, having a play before i stick it in gear, and they still move about in gear and if i dont hold it in 2nd it usually pops out........ WTF
btw car is AU3, always serviced (dont no about box or dif) 5sp man from factory, 133 odd kays on clock. and 1st, 3rd and 5th feel alright didnt try reverse. not having a good month

possible bearing failure, best to get it to transmission shop to get it looked at

2nd and 4th sit on teh same shaft ... so yer possible bearing or the similar
has the oil been changed? drop it into my work if u like - pm me for details
