Default What colour bonnet stickers?

I've got a mercury silver XR8 and was thinking of buying some "BOSS 260" bonnet stickers from Mick Webb SVO on ebay (unless someone knows where to get these in Sydney). I was looking at black until a couple of my mates made some suggestions. One thought orange and the other said silver would give a nice subtle look. I'm leaning more towards black or orange, but what do you reckon?
P.S I'll list all the colours and see what happens.

Black...

If u go for anything else its going to stand out too much and look a little overdone..

I think black would look the best whilst looking the most subtle.

Ugh I think they look much better with no decals. But I'll vote silver with black as a close second.

The stickers tend to detract from the buldge IMO. Looks must better without.

Ideally i would choose none, but if youre gonna get them put white ones on, or orange. Black would look like youve dented it or damaged the paint.

After seeing the Mercury GT-P with orange stripes on the FPV website, I must say that it trully does look good. I would never of thought so either.

Orange because if your going to the trouble of putting on a sticker you want people to see it or your just wasting your money.

If you're going to get stickers for the bulge then go white or orange. No point buying them if you can't see them!
I also recommend the AWC decals. They are first rate quality at a reasonable price.

Either black or orange, both look great on silver and just depends on the whole co ordination thing. I have black on citric acid and it looks very cool. I got mine custom made by a sign writer which was a lot cheaper ($200 with the GT stripes) and the quality is excellent. I also did not go for the Boss 260 as it puts out more than that now so I went for Boss 5.4L (bit different)
The sign writer also put "The Gecko" in the stripes for me which looks great.

Ring Grant from Angel Signs on 0418284701

He is a professional sign writer in Smithfield, Sydney and creates the decals for the bonnet.

You will get them at a better price than most other places and in any colour you want.

He did the stripes on my car.

I wouldnt put stickers on it at all, but thats just my preference. I like a cleaner, stripe/sticker free look, especially with the bulge.

However, I voted black. I thought the orange was okay on Lightening Strike, but I think perhaps Mercury Silver might be a bit dark for bright orange stickers. Cant go wrong with black.

Good point... I have the same problem (if you can call it that), and couldn't decide what colour to get the decals.

I have the mercury and was worried that it was a little to tame for me so the orange should brighten it up nicely.. just depends on personal choice I guess.
