Default Build quantity/numbers

Hey guys... I have done a search of the forums with not too much luck on this topic.

I was wondering if there is a database or site that can tell people how many of a particular series of vehicle was produced? I know ford have made a million falcons but it would be pretty cool to know that yours was
1 of however many that was V8/I6, Wagon/Sedan...

Anyways, just a thought...

Thanks

You wont have any luck on this one. There are a few sites that will give general overall figures but only Ford have the full breakdown. That is, Ford do not release a breakdwon of all of the cars with all of the codes.

An exmaple would be as follows. VFacts shows that X number of Falcons were built in a particular month. However, within those figures will be 6 and 8 cylinder engines, as well as auto's and manual's. Then you have the paint and trim colours. After that, you have all of the other options. Now for that info to be released, you are effectively looking at Ford releasing the complete range of VIN's with their associated options. I know personally that they will not be doing this any time soon. Yes, I asked for a particular model.

However, this information has been released to a select few. That is, to the GT Falcon club (select people only - not me, I wouldn't know). The info released was to allow these people to authenticate all of the GT's from XR to XB. Now, I also know that Ford has not done this lightly and given the chance again, they would probalby say NO!.

i know a couple of months back i was able to get build numbers for I6 and V8 LTD's, fairlanes, and fairmont ghia's..... i wasnt interested in the lower spec models

getting more complicated like paint/trim codes, options, etc would be nigh on impossible i reckon

Vfacts actually tells you how many cars were sold in that month (if your referring to the data that's posted on these forums) and not how many were built.
