What size star key do you need to remove the seats, and what else has to come out to remove the carpet, im planning to go a complete carpet clean tomorrow

The size is a T50 torx socket.
To take the carpet out you will need to remove the seats (aleast the front, maybe the rear), the center console, you will need to peel back the door rubbers and i would also most likly say that the bottom of the B pillar cover would also have to come off (which means the top cover has to come off because it hides two screws for the bottom cover). thats about all i can think of.

Bunning/bersons/repco will all sell them
As for getting the seats out:
Silde the seat as far back as it will go. Remove the two front bolts.
Slide the seat as far forward as it will go, and tilt the seat as far forward as possible. Remove the two rear bolts.
As for getting them out of the car, it just takes some careful manouvering. But i found tilting the seat back and towards the center of the car and taking them out rail first was the easiest.
Also, the threads have loctite/ect on them. So it's best when putting them back in to re-loctite them again.

I use an allen key to remove those bolts, just use the one that fits nice and snug and it will work no hassles at all.

Also, after you take the console out, you will see the front part of the carpet goes under the dash, you will see the mid mounting points, so you will have to unbolt the dash to get it completely out.

All i did was slice through it as i didnt want to take the whole dash out (i cut the carpet where it wont be seen)

Thanks for the help, i tried the allen keys i had but it wasnt a 8 and it wasnt a 6 and i didnt have a 7 :( What do you mean under the dash, where the drivers/passengers feet go or under the where the head deck and all that go?

Plus how does the centre console come off, any special tools required for that?

The console come out very easily with just a 9mm socket, 2 bolts at the back on the floor, 2 under the drink holder, and 2 infront of the shifter(if you remove the rubber bit infront)

Yeah under the headunit part, once you remove the console you will see what i mean.
Best bet would be to just remove all seats, console and clean carpet like that, much easier, as its a bit of a mission to remove the carpet, its stuck down aswell in places and you can rip the foam underneath.

If its not absolutly necessary, dont do it.

Im pretty sure the smaller one should do it.

I tried the 6 and it just sorta rounded the edge on the first go so i left it didnt want a round star hole. Thanks for the help again, ill see what i feel like tomorrow about doing a full removal, the carpet is wet so i want to clean it properly and leave it out side while i clean/dry the metal underpart, by chance i might find some money there, im sure i lost a few dollars on my back seat some where
