I'm posting this in the Pub because it gets more traffic than the Paint & Panel section... hope no-one minds...
Anyone know much about Chargers and their paint codes? I've got a couple of paint codes and was wondering if anyone knows what the difference between them is: 1970 model code, RH, code number 4124 solid 1971/2 model code, RH, code number 4510 solid, shade number 13378 And it doesn't take a genius to figure why I want to know!

RH (for the VG/VH series) was good old Vitamin C as far as the information I have goes.
Cheers Russ

Correct, have a cookie. Both codes are Vitamin C.
But apparently there's a serious difference between them, in that (I think), the 1970 code is much lighter than the 1971/2 code. I want to know which one's the better hue, I suppose...

There is a serious difference between them - which is better entirely depends on personal opinion but the VH shade is more like the BA Blood Orange while the VG shade is like the XA Burnt Orange - 3 or 4 shades lighter.
Cheers Russ

vitamin C on vh chargers is about 2 shades darker than tango orange.
Tango is what I painted my old r/t two barrel in, if you want I can post a couple of pics showing the unpolished original paint and some edging spray done in tango |

Code number 4124 is Vitamin C
See Chrysler 1970 first pic. This would have been used on the “VG” Valiant Pacers RH - VITAMIN C (4) Pacers only shown on the data base. 1971/2 model code, RH, code number 4510 solid, shade number 13378 See 1971 Colour Codes second pic. 4510 would have been used on the “VH” Valiant Charger RT, E38 & Pacers.
