67-69 Shelby Mustang Fast Back, Mustang's will always sell high here
68-69 Chev Impala - as SPK-383 said, Big Block will sell easier

The question is:
Do you want to drive it for a while first or do you just want to sell it for a profit?

If you want to drive it you will have a huge problem as it costs heaps to convert it to right hand drive and even if you could get away with left hand drive you are not used to driving here and you will have enormous problems particularly on roundabouts and single lane roads. e.g. When you are driving on a single lane road here and there is an oncoming car we instictively move to the left. YOU will instinctively move to the right. This will be reinforced by you being in the left seat. Not a lot of fun closing on another vehicle at 200km/h and unsure what they are doing......

If you want to sell it try ringing one of the import places such as corvettequeensland or whereever and ask them what the go is. They know all the traps and loopholes and will probably buy the vehicle off you if it can be done. They also know what ACTUALLY is popular with people who ACTUALLY buy these things rather than what is popular with dreamers......

You would probably have more luck selling ANY 64-66 Mustang... There always seems to be active buyers for those cars
and 55-57 Chevs

The cars these guys bring in are under the SOFA agreement. They cannot sell the car here. But if they sell to another US citizen covered under the SOFA agreement, that is OK.

There are some very nice cars in the Alice... One very nice 64 mustang comes to mind. Quick at the drags as well!!

The biggest problem for the guys that drive LHD cars on the left side of the road is overtaking. I have driven behind them at times when they want to overtake something. It is scary to watch. The MVR here has no problems registering LHD cars.
