I quite like that look I just don't think the retro wheels really suit it though.

We've already produced the VC and VH Retro models, which have been on the road for about twelve months now.
Bev Brock unveiled the Blue Meanie for us on Friday at noon, and we'll focus on the marketing and promotion of this car before venturing into the next model, which will be the VL Group A retro in Permanent Red, with 19in Momo Stars. That is still on the drawing board though. At the moment, it's all about the Bluey! |

Hey Ben,
Do you get many owners commenting on whether or not you guys swayed them from HSV? I find it interesting. For $75k I think you guys have an awesome package, easily the best V8 car at the moment.

I just have a question regarding roadworthyness and warranty. What is your position on these things and how is it handled? Is the 'Blue Meanie' street legal in all states or is that the owners responsibility? Sorry for the hairy question, but it would be good to know. If the car is street legal and is covered by a full warranty as it comes from your workshop for $75k, that's very good value. Colville

Now all you need is to chuck a triple 8 in reverse and recreate a Greens Tuf FG.
Or maybe not.

Love the car. Just a question though. With the power it's packing why only 8" wide wheels?

Yes, the car in it's as displayed spec is no good on the 245 rubber, but no amount of rubber will tame that much! |

Was checking this thing out whilst down at Bathurst. Can't say I hated it, I reckon its the best looking VE iv'e seen with the power to match. Very well done. Now just do a retro blown Falcon.

I had a good look at her whilst at Bathurst and if I had the urge to sit on a Lion it would be a HDT, great job done limited builds importantly compared to hsv's everywhere. Peter Champion and his people are really passionate which would make the ownership a pleasure.
The interior is not overdone imo and all over looks very well balanced though I could do without bonnet hump. I understand a few orders were placed before the weekend had ended. What I preferred even more they had a red SS wagon outside which looked horn also. I took some pics will post tomorrow.

This 'Blue Meanie' looks alright. The front has been done quite well and retains a good look...I think the back of Commodores look sloppy, but all in all, not a bad job in the end.
I wouldn't buy one though...prefer a GT-E But that's irrelevant...

Now if Holden were doing it they would've made a 2 door Cobra for sure. I know it sucks but its the truth. |

Holden have very little to do with this Blue Meany HDT VE either, they tolerate it but I'd say they would provide next to no input on it. Holden had 4 door Monaros too remember, so you can't say they never toyed with the original 2 door concept. |
