Hi all, I have been working on a project very dear to me - the launch of the ARDC website. It's a pretty big step for the club and I would love you to all go along andd have a look through.
There's some great stories on there that I know most of you will get a kick out of, including the Mt Druitt track history. I wrote the content on the site, and learned a hell of a lot. As I hope most of you know, the ARDC (Australian Racing Drivers Club) was pretty much the beginning of motorsport in Australia. It held events - yes, it created the Bathurst 500 after moving it from Phillip Island. It owned race tracks - owned the land and built the first pit lane at Bathurst, Amaroo etc, and currently the gatekeepers of Eastern Creek. And now, in the lead up to its 60th year, the ARDC is going through a re-launch. So please keep an eye out.
