Default Good mechanic in Canberra

So i just moved from Townsville to Canberra and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the Fyshwick area?

My mechanic in Townsville was great and always looked after me, so i am chasing the same kind of service again, im hoping it's easier said than done.

Cheers, Fordo

I don't know of too many mechanics in Fyshwick but if Ultratune are as good there as they were in Tuggies when I had my TX5 you should be alright.

Gentech are the Ford/Holden experts in town from what I have heard. But they are a bit out from Fyshwick though.

cheers fellas, only reason i want one in Fyshwick is because that's where i work. It's just to get some stuff done for a roadyworthy certificate.

I've used Reliance Automotive in Isa Street for some of my previous non fords (he's a mazda specialist), and found them to be very good.
Also, Goodyear Autocare were good (mate was working for them at the time).

But, what type of issues to you need fixed for a roady?

just need a new Boot for the steering rack as its ripped, and the roady itself. The thing is, i know its good to go but when you go to a new mechanic for a roady they usually find extra things because you are new. That's my experience anyway

I know its pretty straight forward but i don't really want to tackle it myself (mechanically retarded). Good idea though, i might get it done somewhere else and then put it in for a roady. I might need a new windscreen but i will see how i go, they are cheap anyway

A thumbs up for GenTech too.

They sponsor the forums, and the local FPV/XR Club.
