Remember Wheels does it with a passenger and a full tank of fuel. Knowing journalists thats >180kg :P of peoples and 60kg of fuel extra.

That dyno is having a laugh. GM Motorsport's SS made ~235 stock, a little above what they usually make which old mate attributed to the electric steering. He added an intake and tuned it to make ~260.

Yeah wheels times are deceptive because they have always tested with a full tank and a passenger plus a third wheel and heavy timing gear in the old days. At least they were consistent with this setup, they were already testing like this when they recorded the 15.1 in the VN 5 litre which was a 14 second car with driver only.

What possesses a person to call their new motor car fat?

Am I the only one that thinks the XR6T hit the rev limiter at 1min 40, or am I looking too closely into things? Seems like the 1st-2nd shift, the car dives forward a little then picks up again. Could have just been a tap of the limiter though.

Yep money talks and the way we've seen Holden do things over the years there is no way in hell ill give credit to the ss times till owners can do them....or at least get close,. The funny thing is....we can confidently know with the great conditions out there.....no surprises in the xr6t times. Time will tell ONCE AGAIN. Not to mention that commie is........
