Bit later model than X series but both the Boyd Coddington 3 tone AU ute and the Sony/Herrod Xplod AU XR8 sedan ended up in Wagga. The ute is now sold but I think the sedan is still here, it was road registered and had the Motec gear removed to get it over the pits.

Anyone have pics of Astills XA with the aus flag? My favourite show car.
The guy that did the interior on his new mustang (and so many others) was the one i bought my XC off.

XD falcons.

In Vic the regos XD 001 to XD 050 were for demo cars AFAIK.

Given to Journalists and influential people to try. I spotted one a long time ago when with a mate and commented on the plate in that range. He told me the story then.

Are they still on the road? They will have early build date.

Anyone remember the Coke Denim Machine given away in a contest in Brisbane in the early to mid 70's. Falcon panel van in red, white and blue colours if my 6 year old brain remembers correctly. I think the draw was beside a river, possibly botanical gardens. Very impressive machine to a little kid.

That's good to know. I remember SM putting that together...KB "sorting" the suspension etc. Never liked the stripes though...even though it WAS the 80's

Default Re: Famous & Infamous Fords - Where Are They Now?

in response to super pursuit05, I was the second owner of Dynasty, the nutmeg brown show van. When I bought it in 02 it had been finished with the kiss theme. Finished I mean completely decked out front and rear. I joined the pacific van club with it and revamped it under the dictionary meaning of dynasty,(lineage of kings).Showed it a few times then sold it by consignment on church st Parra by 04. the pair that bought it were nicknamed silverfrost bob and slob. The van deteriorated more each time I saw it. It turned up again in a car yard on parramatta road in about 06, the interior had been in and out a few times by the look and it had different murals added to it which made it look tacky. The last I heard of it my brother turned up saying that he had seen the tailgate hanging in a wrecking yard in the late nineties which is a shame because it was a nice van. It can be seen in aussie b flick one night stand which is out on video I havent seen dvd, I had just put chrome twelve slotters back on at that time. Hope this helps Graham Tranter

the castrol coupe went up for auction barely a month after it was won by an old bloke. I know because I attended the auction where it was sold for 22,500.

And I know the guy who bought it. He had it for a couple of years then moved it on. He ran it around Sandown etc which started his addiction to circuit racing. He now has an ex DJR EL for track duties.

The Castrol Coupe was last heard of in Emerald QLD - Unsubstantiated.

Scorcher was spotted by a forum member recently, there is a thread that I'm sure a search would bring it up
