Jump on Gumtree. Usually same cars, and dealers info fully displayed.

Somebody should point out, to the WA dealers at least, that they are breaking the law if they don't include their D/L in the ad.

Since the demise of Rego labels, All States have some form of Online Rego Check..

I have used that online Rego check to identify a car model before.
Saw a smallish ute on the way to work, couldn't tell what it was from badging - typed in the reg plate and up came make, model and year

(it was a Proton Jumbuck)

They also have their motor dealer licence listed right at the bottom of the page, search in google and you can usually find them.

Some even have a business name and address listed after the number
