Default Falcon 250 2V head

Hi friends,

A friend is seeking a Ford 250 2V head. Can anyone point me in the right direciton.

There’s two reasonably recent ads on gumtree for 2v motors.

Vintage Inlines in the USA were doing an alloy head based on the Aussie 250-2V.
give them a look because they announced it in 2018 so maybe still available.

Places I would look

ebay (overinflated $$)
facebook
gum tree
just parts magazine
swap meets ( a lot are being cancelled due to the pox)

By the time you purchase one and rebuild it, the $$ is close to the US alloy ones. My head would owe my $1700 easy, purchase, fuel, rebuilt with new valves, springs, valve guides, seals and hardened exhaust ports. I still have final machining to go to get the chamber volume right.

They come up amongst the TC/D Cortina circles. Maybe another tangent to investigate?

Not on the pre crossflow block. It has been done in the US but a LOT of work
