Do you want to know if someone has put an electronic shift kit in or actually strengthened their BTR properly?

Well, I'm not sure what a "stage 3" is or who does it but yes, I've had my BTR strengthened significantly as part of a custom rebuild to fit a large hi stall. Its rated to about 600hp now, is that equivalent to a stage 3?

Stage 3 Strengthens Your Box But It Makes It That You Have To Shift Through The Gears Yourself There Is No Drive. There So If You Draging You Can Just Slap It Into The Next Gear. How Much Did It Cost You To Strengthen Ur Box. Cheers

Well, mine is still totally automatic so I can drive it just like any other auto. Its still controlled by the factory ECU (although edit tune is a must to stop LHM) so its still pretty easy to hustle around town as a normal daily driver.
As for cost, in excess of $4000. It has a custom hi stall, billet internals etc etc. G&D Performance organized it for me and know all the details.

As they're electronically controlled, I didn't think you could go manual valve body (which is basically what JMACS8 is after). Only way would be to get some sort of electronic controller to give you full manual control. While this is available for most Jap imports, I don't think they're available for BTR's.
As for stage 3 trans, it could mean anything. Bit like the old 3/4 race cam BS that used to get about!
