Default Driving courses-Melbourne

Anybody got any recommendations on driving courses.

I've done a V8 supercar driving course which was to say the least a bit boring.

I'm after something that's really going to push my limits with helpful instructors taht will improve my driving.

I did a defensive driving course when I first got my liscence-about 5 years ago, and that was all about how well my car braked. I nearly fell asleep doing this.

Any ideas fellas. Cheers Joel

I did mine with MURCOTTS in melbourne, first time at Sandown then at Calder. I found the HiPerformance course was a blast. First half of the day was lessons and some cool manourvering. And most of the afternoon we could do as many high speed laps as we like with and without instructors. And then we had 3 short races(but officially not called races) at the end of the day.

Hi Joel,

The John Bowe Day is really good- they have a couple of different ones- assuming you would be interested in the High Performance day... there was a thread somewhere here on the forums for a day on Feb 13th or around there at Sandown. John Bowe
(Could have in Performance Ford Mag thread or yella terra). A few club guys have done and have dropped their lap times at Sandown by up to 10 seconds. If there's a group of you (ie i think 10-ish) it's cheaper.

There is also Driver Dynamics - they do skidpan and track stuff....... dynamics

Cheers,

The murcott one sounds good to me and Sandown is only 10mins away.

I'd love to do the John Bowe one but I'm working.
