Still doesn't look like a patch on UK topgear.

Imagine if your Mrs kept comparing you to an ex boyfriend and kept reminding you in which area's he was superior. I'm sure you would be less than impressed. :hihi: |

Its hard not to compare them when the whole first series they were trying their hardest to be so like the UK boys, but managing not to be funny. :togo: |

I reckon where they went wrong was by duplicating the UK set and format. Should have done our own thing! Have a Stig sure. But not exact copy.
I hope series 2 is better than series 1 otherwise the only time my set gets turned to SBS is for RocKwiz - Julia does it for me!

This is the way I look at it too, everyone expected the first ozzy series to be as good as the lastest UK series with 10+ seasons under their belt. : |

Huh? Maybe someone should fill him in that the 4.0L is the only truly Aussie engine left and the LS2/3 is a GM crate engine? :togo:

Some early Top Gear shows were poo, and had boring guests, bland cars and segments. Plus, how can people compare Australian humor to British humor? Apples/oranges....

Looks good! Can't wait.
Everyone needs to lighten up a bit. It's the BEST aussie car show that has ever been aired if you ask me.

The first series was pretty bad but in the end I'd rather ANY car show than the crap thats been on lately (biggest loser, dancing with the "insert name here"; talent show crap) BAH
