Default Street Machine of the Year

Hey Everryone
Thought i'd let everyone know my Falcon did not win Street Machine of the Year 2009. I really like to thank everyone that did vote regardless of the out come. Many many thanks, maybe next time.

i wanna know where that angela chick can get a car like that passed for rego cause there aint a lot of 'street legal' im seein in that thing.... the whole SMOTY thing is a farce... SICKXW well done on the finals, least we know yours is a street machine and street driven! Got my vote!

IMO tho, in all honesty... i think there should be 2 voting systems, one round of voting for EVERY car featured in the magazine throughout the year, and the top 10 or 20 cars with the most of those votes, goes in the running for SMOTY... i feel this will find a few more streeters in the running and the readers get more say in whos car actually goes into the running... cause atm i think its just the main feature car that gets in if im correct?

What isthe point of this post?? Seriously? The guy is just starting this thread to thank people for voting for his immaculate car and I think your post is just insensitive and does no good to anyone but perhaps yourself. think about it....

WELL DONE CHAMP GOOD EFFORT,as for STREET MACHINE OF THE YEAR,the people voted for it ,its good to see (wether its legal in all states or not )that the car is not a trailer queen and gets driven and has the NUMBERS to match the looks, not just built to get points(no disrespecting xw),years ago cars have won shows and were not even driveable, BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR,the bar gets lifted higher every year

Alteast your XW is a street car and that should be a street machine.
Some of the cars are not in any way streetable and are show queens or trailer queens a different category altogether. Hold your head high that is an amazing car you have there and you CAN cruise the streets when you like, love your work.

That makes me REAL mad.
That Torrie is so not a street machine.

Man I'd punch my nanna in the face to own a car like your mate. (I hope you all know I'm kidding, but I would go to extremes to have a car like that)

Mate I give you all my votes. Awesome work mate and attention to detail is awe inspiring.

You should of got it for sure.

Forgone conclusion I'm afraid...unless you've got a Tunna, Trana Mnarah or a Kingy....then forget it...why I stopped buying the mag in the first place.

I even remember a mighty and more than worthy black VE Val that got passed over and could not understand why...but then I thought long and hard about the voting system, and why I had been calling it Monaro Monthly. :

Love your car by the way and yes I voted.
