Ford shows updated 2013 Fiesta sedan in Brazil By Jeffrey N. Ross Posted Oct 23rd 2012 4:33PM - Autoblog Very few cars showing up at this year's São Paulo Motor Show have relevance to the US market, but the refreshed 2013 Ford Fiesta sedan certainly does. The Paris Motor Show has already given us a look at the global styling of the 2013 Fiesta hatchback, and now we get to see what changes are in store for the four-door version of the car. Although this updated global design is for the 2013 model year, these changes will wait until the 2014 model year for the US-spec Fiesta. As expected, the 2013 Fiesta gets a healthy dose of Ford's latest design language, the restyled car gets a very similar appearance to the 2013 Fusion starting with the narrowed headlights, powerdome hood and the Aston Martin-inspired grille. Ford also did some cosmetic work to the rear of the Fiesta sedan with reshaped taillights to go along with a new decklid and fascia design. There were no images released for the new sedan, but the 2013 hatchback received minor upgrades including a new gauge cluster, steering wheel and door panels. Ford also failed to provide any press release for the new Fiesta sedan we can only imagine that it would have similar upgrades of the hatchback we saw in Paris last month. Some of these highlights include the new EcoBoost three-cylinder engine and Active City Stop crash mitigation technology. We would expect to see both versions of the revised US-spec Fiesta to debut early next year. |

Loving the way Ford are going with this design. Makes the Evo Concept very exciting and very plausible. Don't car how 'Aston Martin' they look ....... better than being compared to Ssangyong Musso

That front looks like JaJa Binks. It's probably the worst front end design on any current car I can think of.

Looks good. A minor mid life update has freshened it up for another couple of years.

I forgot having an opinion on this forum that doesn't praise a Ford product is the incorrect one. ;)

The front looks good on the new Mondeo, but unfortunately it doesn't translate well to smaller cars like this one. Much like the shark nose front on the Evo/ASX/Outlander - goes terribly on the Colt.

The back on the current gen Fiesta sedan is horrible, hopefully this isn't the same.
But to me, small cars need to be hatches, not sedans |

Looks pretty good. I think this front end matches the upcoming Fiesta ST.

yes I agree Damo look at the Yaris it looks horrid as a sedan but as good as a yaris can in a hatch. Fiesta is the same even the focus sedans look wrong. Mazda 3 sedan is not too bad but I really agree with you small car should be hatch. Not to mention small sedans may as well not even have a boot lid you can't fit even half a dead Nic85 in there

They've moved the big part of the grill from the bottom half of the front bar to the top part of the front bar. Looks out of proportion to me. I think it'd look better with the big mouth part at the bottom like the Focus RS.

I must agree with Nic on this one. Not very nice at all. Although, I do like the Aston Martin grille haha
