Hoping somebody can guide to an AFF thread about Shelby Cobra kit builds.

I'm starting with some research before hopefully committing to a build next year, appreciate any help or advice

Thanks in advance

There's a rebuild in the project section

Or there's a few dedicated forums like

As you live in WA there are 2 manufactures of AC kitcars, Gforce and RCM(or RMC). Also there is an importer of an American kit call Factory Five, a very good kit that comes with everything you need to build the Cobra except motor, gearbox and tyres. Check them out. There are a number of kit builders on the east, but the transport could be expensive. If you don't mind paying the transport cost check out Absolute Pace on the Gold Coast in Queensland. I think it is the best Australian built kit available.

Harrision(Cobra Kits) is at the Gold Coast and, another Cobra kit supplier, DRB Sportcars in the area also.
I read elsewhere on another forum that there is another person from Perth who is also starting to look for a Cobra kit and is leaning towards using a chev motor in it. You should try to contact him. When building a car it is good to have someone who is building a car to talk to even if it is not the same kit.

You should also look at joining the local Cobra Club. This good be the biggest help of all.
