Default Hyundai genesis V8 coming?

Well well well... This could makes things interesting post 2017

Could be a choice of the 300c or the genesis?

I'd be keen to take one for a test drive at least.

The concept in that link is certainly umm, well ugly.

Wonder if Kia will do a version? Kia do seem to make their cars a bit more aesthetic

The current Genesis doesn't look so bad. I hope the one in the link is only a concept.

So while Ford & Holden go down the sh!tter, they let everyone one that builds any sort of car sell them here. It doesn't make sense..?????

sbutler..thats the "Free Trade Agreement" benefits everyone else but Australia. Fiesta and Focus are built in Thailand but aren't any cheaper???!!! which ,in theory, they should be.

Yes the one in that previous link is just an conceptual take on Hyundai's future design language. The one below is very close to the real deal...

My opinion is that while Hyundai have been able to poach a good designer with Peter Scheryer (or however you spell his name) and are capable of designing nice looking cars, (Hyundai i45) springs to mind, dynamically they're still a vast distance behind the best.

The idea that this will be a genuine competitor for a BMW 5 Series of Mercedes-Benz E series, is fanciful at best.
I believe most people will see through this as nothing more than blatant marketing hype on Hyundai's part.
Their real competitors have always been, and in my opinion, will always be, the other Asian manufacturers and their claim has no more credibility than HSV's claim's along the same lines.
