Default Drag Racing for Minors?

My 16 year old son wants to know if he is able to race his cortina at the drags even though he has no licence to drive on the road as yet. Is this possible? Is there a licence he can get from ANDRA especialy for drag racing.

Default Re: Drag Racing for Minors?

Maybe call the local strip or your department of transport?

I was at the Cairns speedway earlier this year and they had a event for minors (not a drag-strip, it's a dirt-ring race pretty much though), pretty sure they were restricted to 4cyls, but otherwise seems they were fine to race.
