Poor bloke. Not only did he not own a classic Falcon, to then have it stolen from him.

I often worry someone is going to steal my Aston Martin that doesn't exist. These days it is just not worth not having such a desirable car.

i don't get it, the rego must have been linked to a vin and someone would have had to inspect the car so the car would exist?? where is it? rusting on a farm?
i bet the club it was registered with is going down too

almost as bad as the guy who said his corvette that was parked in a shipping container in southern nsw was swept away in the recent floods and went missing...those 20ft containers are hard to find....anyway it was found on a farm along with a container load of other reportedly stolen good from previous insurance claims by the same guy....

some people are so stupid i'm surprised they know how to breath

Yep, the alleged owner of the phantom Falcon would have to be a prize moron to think he could get away with it, as a substantial document and records trail would have to exist.

If they want it they’ll take it, some people will steal anything or nothing.

If you are really worried maybe you should try some of this.

That's fine, thank you for all the apologies from the people that flamed me in the original thread for saying it was fabricated BS.

It stood out as BS from a mile away and I called it BS on the day it happened.

I just go and clear out my inbox as I am sure it will be filled with apologies from the people that abused me, ridiculed me and called me names because I called it the way I saw it.

Was quite obvious especially since it was the second time it happened to this poor bloke.... erm or should I say crook

The guy is a mechanic probably did his own blue slip using the VIN from some old car that has long gone and no longer exists.

I wonder who will be man enough out of these members to apologise to me for their rudeness and insults:

Stefan, mik, pottery beige, kokonut (who actually claimed to have seen the car that did not exist), noflac52, Bosko, bungarra (who struggled to understand defamation laws), FXG335 (who was very personally insulting and outspoken, wonder if he will still be outspoken), Dash XR(who called a closed case, lucky the NSW police are not as easily convinced to close a case)

LMAO at posting in this thread seeking a personal apology because the car was not stolen.

Or was it because of abuse? below some of your posts, seems that if you want an apology for rudeness I'll take my apology from you first please.
  • Seems you are still struggling with the whole common sense thing
  • You really are struggling with basic comprehension
  • May be instead of having a poor attempt of being smart add something useful to the topic at hand.
  • using your brain and actually having a valid thought process is not appreciated around here

Funnily enough kokonut joined in June when that thread was created, made a total of 2 posts ever (both in said thread) and hasn't been online since? What do you think of that?

He might be in Police custody answering difficult questions in relation to an allegedly missing XW that he saw that fateful night

Default Couple charged over made-up car robbery

I called it then

people from NSW have been charged over allegedly making false claims of vehicle theft. Back in June the couple claimed their XW Falcon GT had been hijacked by armed thieves when they pulled over on Cawdor Road, Cawdor, to deal with engine issues.
They told police two people in a white van pulled up behind them and a Caucasian man approached them and spoke to them about the XW for a few minutes, before threatening them with a gun and driving off with the car. They claimed the car was a Starlight Blue XW that was worth up to $100,000.
At the time Inspector Michael Bright of Camden Police said the alleged incident was “unusual”, as the thieves wouldn’t be able to sell the car or use it themselves since such a distinctive vehicle would be spotted almost immediately.
Today NSW Police confirmed that a 37-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man have been arrested for fraud. Police believe the stolen Falcon never existed and the pair made up the story in order to lodge a false insurance claim.
The two accused of the fraud are expected to appear in court on 12 January 2016; if convicted they face up to 10 years’ imprisonment.

Apologies? Not likely.

You have to be the rudest person on this site, period. You tear everyone a new one at every opportunity, are always sarcastic, and rarely add anything constructive. I gave this guy the benefit of the doubt, the law clearly states that you are innocent until proven guilty. If this was legit, he would be upset for losing his gf's car, and possibly traumatised by the experience.

However, the law did catch up with him, the cops have sufficient evidence to charge him and his gf, and all is well. It's not our job to be judge, jury and executioner, and if your first response to reports like this is to judge them guilty, then that is more of an indictment on you as a person and as a human.

I will apologise for calling you out in the first place, because I had to respond to your dribble yet again. Last time that will be happening.
